DVT.Swelling: Depend upon which comorbidities are present at the time of the surgery:diabetis, obesity, chf, copd, varicocities etc.Most common ones aredvt(blod clot), swelling, stiffness, infection.Of course there are several possible complications however those are the most common ones.

Knee replacement: Complications fortunately are rare after knee replacement. Potential complications include: infection, blood clots (in the legs or lungs), stiffness, patellar instability, nerve or blood vessel injury, dislocation, fracture or complications related to the prosthesis itself. Medical complications can also occur. Talk to your surgeon if you have specific questions.
