Ingredients.: If you do not normally suffer from a dry mouth and it only occurs after brushing, most likely some ingredient in the toothpaste is to blame. Possibilities are sodium laurel sulfate, mint flavoring or other flavorings or something else. Try different toothpastes without one or more of these ingredients. Tom's of maine does not have sodium laurel sulfate. Biotene is also one to try..

Your toothpaste: See if changing your toothpaste brand or type helps. There are so many ingredients in them today, that some people have different responses. You might go back to basics -- i.e. Crest regular, and see if it helps. If not this, then see an oral medicine specialist.

Mouthwash too?: If you rinse with mouthwash every time you brush, you may be subjecting your mouth to rinses that contain alcohol or like substances which commonly dehydrate or dry your mouth far too much. Change brands of toothpastes and rinses, one at a time and see which if any makes a difference.
