Usually not: In general, a breast abscess does not lead to breast cancer but some breast cancers can present as a breast abscess. When being treated for a breast abscess, a mass in the breast should be ruled out.

No: Pure abscess is infection not cancer. However, a cancerous lump can have "dead" cells within it, because it is fast growing, overgrowing, so necrotic or dead tissue in it can have what looks like "pus".
