Sleeping too much: Hypersomnia... Too much sleep. An average night sleep can vary but will be between 6-8 hours/night. The best way to know if you have hypersomnia is to keep a sleep log. There can can be variations of normal. If you find that you are above the normal range, see a sleep specialist ( usually a pulmonary doctor) in your area to discuss.
