Maybe... Depends: An occasional twitch can be a common and relatively normal event. Twitches or localizes muscle spasms can be related to misfires of local nerves to the muscles. Some spasms relate to mineral deficiencies (like potassium or calcium) or local trauma (like over exercising an area) or even over-stimulation (like excess caffeine intake).
