Yes: Pregnancy an make them worse but you should get a platelet count just to make sure there are not other issues.

Possibly: It is not uncommon that pregnancy changes your response to tooth brushing, including increased bouts of vomiting. This in turn could worsen the petechiae, which are small hemorrhages due to broken capillaries, commonly seen on the soft palate and tonsillar areas. Best to consult your obgyn about mitigating the occurrence.
