Bronchosaline: This is sold in may pharmacies over the counter in a big canister capable of delivering treatment size doses . It is commonly uses to dilute concentrated asthma medications but can be used to help loosen the mucous in the lungs & let it be coughed up. Make sure you keep your tubing clean between uses as the moisture can attract mold. I occasionally recommend it's use.
