A member asked:

I have pcos (undiagnosed) i have 2 periods a year. but in 3 months iv had 2. does this mean i have ovulated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Undiagnosed: If you have undiagnosed pcos, you have probably not excluded other causes of infrequent periods. Pcos is a diagnosis of exclusion which means that all other causes of hyperandrogenism/infrequent periods have to be ruled out. You really need to get the right diagnosis in order to make sure you get treatment and attention for the appropriate disorder. Starting with your gyne would be good.
