Maybe: It might be. I would wait to see how they progress; they may spontaneously regress without any treatment. If they develop into warts, then treatment can be approached then; right now, there's really not a whole lot to do.

Most likely a virus: What you have may well be warts (condyloma). Hpv causing an external lesion is much less likely. The thing we worry about with that is cancer arising internally from this. A male pap can be done. Herpes is not out of the question either. Consult an infectious disease physician.

Many possible reason: If you are worried, you may want to see a colorectal surgeon. You could also see your primary care physician first to see if there is a problem or not.
