What is the point of conception indicators on urine pregnancy tests when they are deemed inaccurate?

Depends: For some women they do not work well and so using them is a waster of time. For some women they are very reliable but not perfect. In general they are overrated, if it is just to time sex then it is better just to have sex more often around the time you think you will ovulate. If they are used to time fertility treatments, often the doctor will have backup plan in case the kit in not working.
