A member asked:

Can you get a hernia in your neck?

No: Hernias occur where a defect develops in the boundaries of a hollow body cavity. Since the neck is not a hollow cavity, there are no potential hernias.

Technically no: U have to have weakness in tissues/muscle and increased pressure inside a cavity for hernia to form. This will not happen on the outside where everyone can see. In can happen on. The inside where inner lining of esophagus can herniate through post weak muscles causing zenker's diverticulum. This presents late in life, usually over 70s.
