Walking is the best!: Walking is the perfect exercise for seniors. There's no special equipment, it's adaptable to all fitness levels, and it's social. Water aerobics classes are great for people who cannot bear full weight on their joints without pain. And strength training can be adapted to a variety of fitness levels. The oldest woman on my rowing team is 79! so, remember, keep your favorite exercise going. Lgromko.
