Lots Of Things: Group psychotherapy usually consists of a group of individuals sharing a common theme or issue, who join together with a group leader, who is usually a licensed mental health profession, in an effort to overcome their issues. Almost any type of psychiatric illness is well served in group therapy such as depression, anxiety, panic, eating disorders, grief, substance abuse to name a few.
