Yes: Continue your birth control pills, but repeat the pregnancy test in another week and 2 weeks. If it turns posiitive, you can stop the pills with no harm.

Yes: It is safe to resume taking birth control pills after a negative pregnancy test. Once on back on the pill you should not cycle again until the end of the next pack.
