Various treatments: A person who thinks she has a hormonal imbalance can get evaluated by a primary care doctor to start with blood tests to check hormone levels. Treatments vary depending on which hormone is abnormal, such as hyperthyroid, hypothyroid, high dhea, high or low testosterone, abnormal LH or fsh, high prolactin, high insulin, etc... These conditions are from a variety of different diseases.

Various treatments: If you are found to be perimenopausal and your doctor recommends hormone replacement therapy, make sure not to get caught up in replacing hormone levels to "normal levels." no one knows what normal hromone levels are for postmenopausal women. You should use the treatment to treat your symptoms, not your lab values. In my opinion, topical Estrogens and oral or vaginal progesterones are the best!

Not sure.: First, you are 28 years old. Has a doctor told you that you have "hormone imbalance", or is this your own conclusion?!
hormones in young women can usually be treated by placing them on oral contraceptives. But please see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis and come up with a treatment plan.
