Depends: I think the problem may possibly have been caused by you not taking the active form of b6. When the inactive form is taken, there is a rate limiting factor in conversion, resulting in a relative deficiency of the active form. This can result in neuropathy. It is possible that taking the active form, pyridoxal 5 phosphate, may help.

Not cause: Vitamin b6 at that dose does not cause neuropathy.
