Topical agents: Try using some topical retinoids or azelaic acids to reduce the discoloration that can result from having acne. Hydroquinone may also be effective and is available in a lower strength other the counter.

Give it time : Don't pick at it. You can apply mederma if its scarred. Best to do nothing and let the post imflammatory hyperpigmentation let itself fade. Be gentle, keep sun off of it, use sunblock.
