Depends : If you had a laparoscopic hernia repair you have nerve trapping or neuritis from the procedure. You have to be more specific and provide the type of laparoscopic operation performed.

Not Certain, but..: Postoperative pain that feels "like fire" needs to be evaluated quickly by your surgeon. He/she will want to know. It may be from having stretched a ligament (remember c02 inflates your abdomen quite a bit during a laparoscopy), nerve entrapment, minor bleeding, etc. This will most likely resolve. But, don't be wondering. Communication about something as critical as surgery is essential.
