Yes...but: It is probably safe to do this but it might not cover the marks. I have seen patients do this and if the stretch marks are not too large or red and the tattoo is well-chosen it can work. Sometimes the wrinkles of the stretch mark make the tattoo look strange. I have also seen the skin tear and become more irritated within the stretch mark after the tattoo.
