What is optimal blood pressure?

Adults: <120 / <80: The "optimal blood pressure" for an adult is having both systolic (upper #) less than 120, and diastolic (lower #) less than 80. Many doctors feel that if a person has his regular, everyday blood pressure lower than 120/80, he is better off. That means 100/60 is better than 110/70, which is better than 120/80. True, as long as the person has no symptoms of "low blood pressure", such as dizziness.
