A member asked:

Does urinary retention from cymbalta (duloxetine) go away and am i likely to gain a lot of weight?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Cymbalta (duloxetine) usually does not cause urinary retention. If you are retaining urine, you need to see a urologist for an exam and they may need to do a test called urodynamics to figure out why you are retaining urine.
