I have a rectal stricture and can't pass stool. lost 55 pounds. i have heard of a balloon procedure but no doctor in this area will do it.?

Proper: Management of a stricture depends a great deal on the underlying cause of the stricture. Balloon dilation may help temporarily, but will probable need repeated procedures. See a colorectal surgeon for a proper evaluation and determination when dilation or a sphincteroplasty is the appropriate form of management.
