Need more info: There can be several causes of the pain you describe including gall bladder, pancreas, heart, kidney and liver. You mentioned a scan but again there are several which look at different things. Some of these things can be serious. I would see a doctor as soon as you can. Sometimes it can take more than one visit to figure a problem out.
