Sweaty Boot: Some companies sell thick athletic type socks that can be worn under the boot and then changed every few days. This will help to keep the foot warm as well as absorb the sweat. These can then be machine washed and reused.

Absorb sweat?: The key is to limit the sweating. Avoid rigorous or sport activities to minimize the sweating. Once the sweat is in the cast the only way it will come out is when the doctor removes the cast.
