A member asked:

Can you get std's in your mouth that cause symptoms of inflamed sore gums that bleed constantly and receed from your teeth? only started after oral.

Possible: When we speak of std's we are referring to chlamydia, syphilis, gonorrhea, & hiv. Oral sex may result in sore throat which affects the nasopharynx. Any one of these diseases can produce symptoms of irritation associated with bacterial or viral infection. Bleeding gums are a sign of gingivitis or periodontitis which is in itself a low grade infection. You should be tested for std's.

Active gum disease: It is remotely possible that you my have primary herpes outbreak also known as primary herpatic gingivostomatitis. But it is most probable you have active gum disease. See a periodontist asap.
