Kienböck's disease: Tip of the thumb is innervated by the median & radial nerves; lunate bone (one involved in kienböck's is on the ulnar side of the wrist. If the scaphoid bone on the thumb side of the wrist were involved, the thumb might be affected. Best to ask the surgeon who performed the operation.
