Yes: My experience w Keppra (levetiracetam) is that is generally very well tolerated due to its low sedation rate, but I have never seen the anger and psychosis in other drugs that i've seen w keepra.

Yes: Keppra (levetiracetam) can cause psychiatric side effects, as can temporal lobe seizures. It's best to speak to your neurologist, or get an opinion from a neuro-psychiatrist, to explore your options. Also, are there any barriers in your relationship with your neurologist that cause you not to feel comfortable asking him/her, or trust his/her answer? If so, see if that can be improved.
