Arteries...: I have never heard of an itch being related to arteries. But never say never! it would help to see pictures of the areas affected. Red? Painful? Raised? Scaly? And it would help to know when it started, when itching is worse, if anyone else has similar symptoms, if you changed your soaps/detergents, if you have allergies to anything, if you tried anything to make it go away?

Photo/rash: There are many possible causes of a widespread rash. If you have a fever, please seek medical care. I would recommend following your temperature. If there is a possibility of insect bites, a topical steroid cream and taking an antihistamine such as benedryl may help. If you can upload a picture to the website physician can then take a look.
