How do i identify a rash?

Can be difficult: Rashes can be difficult to identify, even for physicians. In addition to "seeing" and "feeling" the rash, additional tools to identify the rash include performing a biopsy of the rash, or performing a culture (if we suspect an infectious cause.) best to see your family doctor, internist or dermatologist.

Very nonspecific: A rash is a general description on something different you see on your skin. It can be a bump, a welt, a scaly , or red area. It may itch or burn. Without a good description, it means nothing to us.
