No: They don't sound abnormal. Do show them to your healthcare professional for reassurance, if your face feels swollen or your arms feel swollen see a doctor asap.

No.: Veins are blue because they carry blood back to the heart and this blood is lower in oxygen then arterial blood which is bright red. Veins will change in size due to many factors including genetics, aging, skin color and texture, levels of hydration and even outside temperature. You should not worry about these veins.
