Troublesome problem: Chronic hives are difficult. Your list of medicines is typical and some find that tagomet can provide some relief but you may be better served by seeing an allergist & having some testing done. If you can identify a food or other trigger that you could avoid you might have better luck.

Visit allergist: When antihistamines are not effective for controlling chronic urticaria, other medicines can be tried depending on the severity of your symptoms such as singulair, (montelukast) dapsone, plaquenil, Cyclosporine or xolair. Discuss this with your allergist.
