Probably: I'm always amazed at how manipulative babies can be. Your baby very well may be making that noise because it gets your attention! Of course, if it's persistent and constant, better have it checked.

Maybe maybe not: Mention this to your pediatrician because they will want to ask many more questions. Are symptoms worsened with feeding? If so, possible ger. Is baby gaining weight and growing normally, etc.
