Sinus pain: You may still have an underlying infection but fungal not bacterial especially with having 2 so close together. The pain is indicative of incomplete resolution.

Need more treatment: If the pain from your sinusitis is still there, the infection has not resolved. If your antibiotics were only for 7 days, the course was too short. Sinusitis needs a minimum of 10-days of antibiotics for resolution. If you had 10 days or longer, then you should get a 2nd course of antibiotics. I am an ENT in bh. Feel free to call my office if your symptoms are still there. Dr kayem 310-777-7879.
