Possible rolandic: Many children will have seizures from sleep at that age. This may be a benign disorder that he will outgrow. I assume that he had a thorough evaluation including ct scan and should have a good quality eeg. Often the eeg shows focal spikes in the rolandic region. If he is otherwise normal and doing well, there is a good chance he will outgrow the disorder.
