Focused Headache Med: Percocet is not a great medication for a headache. While the opioid may help dull the pain, it does not treat the underlying vasodilation/venous spasms or muscle tension that cause most headaches. Discuss headache medicines such as reglan, (metoclopramide) compazine, and prophylactic medications with your doctor. If you have a headache that is different than a normal headache, you need to go to an er.

Headaches: Every patient is different. You must be seeing a physician if you are prescribed percocet. I would advise you consult your physician so that you are safely prescribed medications.
