Contact Your OB: If your c/s was done under spinal anesthesia there is a good chance you are leaking spinal fluid from the insertion point. Placement of a blood patch in the same area will often stop the leak & the headaches that go with it. Your OB can arrange this for you.

Spinal Headache: If your headache goes away when lying down, but returns shortly after arising you probably have a spinal headache. This results fro a leak in the dura. You would need to contact your doctor or go to the er and see about having a blood patch done. This will provide the most immediate relief.
