I've had an iud for a year now and my husband just recently started saying that its hurting him what should i do?

Could be dislodged!: While it doesn't happen often, an iud can actually work its way out of the uterus. Your husband could be feeling the tip of the iud as it's coming out! this would be rare, but it would also mean your iud would be less effective - so you should be checked. I've also heard of men feeling the iud string. But assuming the iud is in place, try adjusting your positions during sex for greater comfort.
