Bone stimulator: Bone growth stimulators can enhance bone healing. However sometimes the problem may not be slowness of healing but abnormal healing. When a fracture heals abnormally it can cause mal-union or non-union of the fracture site. This then requires surgical intervention. Bone growth stimulator for mal-union will be of no benefit.
