Trans-vaginal sono: measurement of the length of the new fetus, crown-rump length(CRL) is by far the most accurate dating method. Ovulation day can vary widely month to month. When CRL and first day of last menstrual period, dates coincide, this is good. But if they vary, use the CRL dating as the correct due date.
