Yes: The term stomach flu is a collection of illnesses not a single germ. A variety of adenoviruses & enteroviruses can attack areas of the digestive tract & follow a variety of patterns.Since the term involves the stomach, most will involve some belly pain & intolerance to some foods, vomiting, cramps or diarrhea at some point. Some may pass through the system with fever as its only feature.

absolutely: The symptoms of Stomach Flu (Viral Gastroenteritis) can include: nausea, vomiting, headache, watery bowel movements (not bloody), abdominal cramps and a low fever. You don't have to have all of the symptoms.
