Nail changes: Are very common in patients undergoing chemotherapy. The most common is white stripes that start at the nail bed and grow out. Black would be less typical. Maybe share more information on the specific chemo involved.

It can: Certain types of chemotherapy can cause longitudinal melonychia which shows up as dark streaks in the nail. It is important to have this looked at by someone who is experienced in nail conditions to ensure that it is not worrisome since dark streaks in the nail can also come from melanomas.
