I can't put weight on my wrist when it's bent. like doing push-ups. even bending it kind of hurts now. but i can put weight on it when it's straight?

Weighlifter's wrist: It is most likely scaphoid impaction syndrome, which is a condition where there are wrist bones and covering called the capsule that gets impingement when the wrist is bent upward with force as you describe. It can respond to physical therapy in most case or simply strapping the wrist for support. If that does not work seek a sports medicine consultation.

Wrist pain pushup: Several thing come to mind 1. Hidden or occult ganglion cyst in the dorsal radiocarpal joint 2. A carpal boss 3. Prior injury 9 maybe unknown) with old ligament instability 4. Midcarpal arthritic change 5. Arthritis base of thumb 6. Tendonitis 7. Midcarpal laxity 8. Keinbocks 9. Ulnar impaction 10. If i can give you 9 , then you can see why you might want to see a hand surgeon and be evaluated.
