Yes!: But before treatment, we need to check your blood pressure at least twice. Your doctor or nurse follows very strict guidelines regarding how to measure blood pressure. Then a systolic (top) number greater than 139 or a diastolic (bottom) number greater than 89 on two separate occasions is enough to warrant medications. In 120-139/80-89 range, lifestyle modification is key: healthy eating & exercis.

Modestly elevated: The upper limit of normal is 135 systolic with above 140 being abnormal. 85-90 diastolic is borderline elevated. Above 90 is abnormal. Treatment may include diet, exercise, and medication.

Yes: This is not go to the ER because you will stroke high but it is high enough to call you hypertensive. HT is a silent killer & untreated can lead to kidney, blood vessel, eye and other organ damage. If this is a real level verified over time you need to be treated.
