Tricky: At 1500 mg of metformin daily, 30 % of women will ovulate spontaneously. Ovulation means cycle period. In pcos bleeding occurs because all the estrogen causes the inside uterine lining to grow and it comes off randomly. Get an ovulation predictor kit.

No: Metformin may not be treating the pcos fully. Get checked and you may need more treatment to regulate cycles. Probably progesterone.
