It depends upon...: If it is thought that this was a recent exposure (within 2 years) or you have risk factors that increase your risk of reactivation of the TB like diabetes, silicosis, abnormal cxr and on immunosuppressive meds.

Need evaluation: You need to have a chest x-ray prior to considering treatment. If your PPD or blood test is a new conversion and/or your chest x-ray has findings, you will likely need treatment. Discuss this with your doctor.
