It depends: You should always check with your physician who knows you and what other drugs you are on, but generally, it is ok to take both zyrtec, (cetirizine) a moderate antihistamine, with alprazolam, or xanax, a short acting anti-anxiety drug. You may have more of a dry mouth with both, and the xanax may be a little more powerful or stay in your system a little longer if taken with some meds, or especially alcohol.
