See below: Incomplete information- however, his doc can tell you if this is chronic and permanent or acute because of some other cause. Acute is more correctable. Sometimes there can be some increase i n cr because of some medications used to control BP like ace- i/arb.

Not normal: Cr 3.6 signifies fairly advanced kidney dysfunction. This may or may not be reversible, but certainly needs explanation. There is no way to reduce this number except by eliminating medications that might be raising it. The home treatment of all kidney dysfunction is to prevent further damage by avoiding medications that can hurt the kidney and preventing dehydration.
