what is the definition or description of: blood pressure test?

Heart work: Every visit to the doctor should include a measure of blood pressure. We see how high pressure is both during and between each beat of the heart. This is important, because high blood pressure may cause strokes, heart attacks, or other diseases. Often, medicines are used to reduce blood pressure in order to avoid these problems.
