IgE level: Ige is an antibody increased in patients with allergies. Allergen specific ige levels often increase after exposure to a trigger such as a food, pollen season, or pet and decrease as the allergen is avoided. However, some patients with allergies have normal ige levels and those without allergies can have elevated ige levels (such as those with parasitic infections).
