Here are some: Commonly, if not routinely, the retrieved urinary stone is sent to special lab to analyze its chemical compositions in percentage such as calcium oxalate monohydydrate 100% or cal oxalate monohydrate - 35% / cal oxlate dihydrate - 65% or uric acid 100% ... etc. so to give Doc a piece, not all, of useful info on what cause it.
